Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on olnlabs.com, how we use them, and the choices available to you. Our approach is deliberately minimal: we use cookieless analytics by design, and the only cookies you may encounter come from the embedded scheduling tool on our contact page.
01What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit it. Cookies allow websites to remember information about your visit — such as your language preference, login state, or items in a shopping cart — and to recognise your browser on future visits.
Cookies are commonly classified as:
- First-party cookies — set by the website you are visiting
- Third-party cookies — set by another organisation (e.g. embedded services or analytics providers)
- Session cookies — temporary; deleted when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them
"Similar technologies" — local storage, session storage, pixel tags, and fingerprinting — can perform some of the same functions as cookies. We do not use these technologies for tracking on this Website.
02Our approach
We have deliberately built olnlabs.com to use as few cookies and tracking technologies as possible:
- We do not set first-party tracking cookies
- We do not use advertising or marketing cookies
- We do not use cross-site tracking
- We use cookieless analytics (Umami) that respects user privacy by default
- The only cookies you may encounter are functional cookies set by Cal.com when you choose to interact with the booking calendar on our contact page
Because we do not set first-party tracking cookies and our analytics are cookieless, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If we add cookies that require consent in your jurisdiction in the future, we will update this policy and request consent at that time.
03First-party cookies (we set none)
OLN Labs does not set any first-party cookies on olnlabs.com. The site is a static, server-rendered website with no user accounts, no preferences storage, and no client-side state that requires cookies.
04Analytics (cookieless)
We use Umami for website analytics. Umami is a privacy-friendly, GDPR-compliant analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites.
What Umami collects:
- Aggregate page views and the URL of each page visited
- Approximate geographic region (country/region) derived from your IP address
- Browser type, operating system, and device category (desktop / tablet / mobile)
- The referring website or source that brought you to olnlabs.com
What Umami does not collect or do:
- No cookies of any kind
- No persistent identifiers
- No cross-site or cross-device tracking
- No collection or storage of full IP addresses
- No fingerprinting
- No sharing of data with advertising networks
For more information, see Umami's documentation.
05Third-party cookies
5.1 Cal.com (scheduling)
The contact page on olnlabs.com embeds an interactive scheduling calendar provided by Cal.com. When this embed loads, Cal.com may set its own cookies in your browser to manage the booking session, remember your time zone, and prevent abuse of the booking flow. These cookies are set and controlled by Cal.com, not by OLN Labs.
Cal.com's data practices are governed by its own privacy policy. You can review them at cal.com/privacy.
If you do not want Cal.com to set cookies on your device, simply do not interact with the booking calendar — you can still contact us by email at hello@olognlabs.com or by phone / WhatsApp at +91 85888 37942.
5.2 Hosting infrastructure
The Website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel does not set tracking cookies on our behalf, but may use minimal essential cookies for security, performance, and abuse prevention. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.
5.3 External links
Pages on this Website link out to third-party sites (including our portfolio products SmartBDM, EasyInventory, Vruent, and TruePrice; the Cal.com booking page; social media; and others). Those sites have their own cookie practices, which are outside our control. We recommend reviewing the cookie or privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
06How to control cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See which cookies are stored on your device and delete them individually or in bulk
- Block third-party cookies (which would prevent the Cal.com embed from setting cookies)
- Block all cookies
- Receive a warning before a cookie is set
- Delete all cookies when you close the browser
Instructions for managing cookies in major browsers:
Note that blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of the Cal.com booking calendar and other third-party embeds. Since OLN Labs does not set first-party cookies, blocking cookies will not affect the rest of the Website.
07Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that signals to websites that you do not want to be tracked. There is no consistent industry standard for honouring DNT signals. Because we do not engage in cross-site tracking in the first place, our practices do not change based on DNT signals — we already do not track you across sites, regardless of any DNT preference.
08Changes to this policy
If our cookie practices change — for example, if we add new third-party embeds or analytics services that set cookies — we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date at the top. Where required by law, we will also seek your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.
